De eerste stappen voor deze foundation zijn al gezet met een bezoek aan Ghana. Met de single ‘Akwaaba’ (wat in het Ghanees welkom betekent) eert Memphis zijn Ghanese roots. De behoefte om iets terug te doen voor het land waar zijn vader vandaan komt was groot. Dat hij daarvoor graag een nummer wilde rappen kwam niet totaal onverwachts, de voetballer heeft al eens eerder de microfoon gegrepen. Memphis vroeg daarom bevriende raplegende Winne en producer Rass King om hem hierin bij te staan. Voor de clip zijn de mannen samen met videomakers ‘Since 88’ afgereisd naar het Afrikaanse land. Daar bezochten ze projecten voor blinde en dove kinderen en investeerden in sport en educatie van deze kinderen door donaties en opleidingen. In de clip van ‘Akwaaba’ is onder meer een Ghanees blind kinderkoor te zien. Een Nederlands kinderkoor leverde ook een bijdrage aan het initiatief van Memphis. Premium room in the Grand Tower. To get to the Grand Tower from check-in, you have to go up an escalator, across a skywalk to the Grand Tower elevators which was kind of a pain. The room was a corner room on the 22nd floor, about 5 floors form the top. The video doesn't show the bathroom which was large with 2 sinks, a shower with a 1/2 glass door and a toilet. There was no minifridge in the room.
