Además, la presencia física de estos recordatorios en lugares públicos sirve como un tributo a las víctimas y en particular, este monumento tendrá presente en la comunidad la tragedia colectiva y la vulnerabilidad humana, lo que permitirá concientizar sobre la fragilidad de la vida y la importancia de cuidarnos mutuamente. Para la encargada del despacho de la Presidencia Municipal, Betsabé Rocha Nieto, esta medida atenderá una de las peticiones de los deudos de los fallecidos en ese atentado hace 13 años. “En hora buena por todo el trabajo de todos los participantes en estas comisiones, y sobre todo (para saldar) una deuda que tenemos como ciudad y como Administración municipal”, afirmó. PLANES Y REGLAMENTOS En otra parte de la Sesión se autorizó una prórroga por 60 días para la expedición del Plan de Desarrollo Urbano de Monterrey 2040. La consulta pública concluyó con la segunda audiencia pública, que se llevó a cabo el 7 de marzo pasado y el plazo inicial de 30 días se extiende ante la complejidad de los planteamientos recibidos, para emitir respuesta fundamentada a los planteamientos improcedentes.
