Buscan a Jorge Alberto, lo privó un comando armado del casino Codere de Los Mochis El «levantón» se registró al salir de su turno del casino Codere, ubicado en la colonia Americana. Familiares de un hombre que fue privado de su libertad en días pasados por un comando de gente armada, realizaron una rueda de prensa en donde expusieron el hecho violento del que fue víctima el trabajador de un casino de Los Mochis; exigen a las autoridades que investiguen y piden que se los regresen. Se trata de Jorge Alberto Hernández Peña, de 46 años de edad, con domicilio en el fraccionamiento Buenavista, al sur poniente de Los Mochis, quien era guardia de seguridad del casino Codere, ubicado en la calle Vicente Guerrero y Rosendo G. Castro de la colonia Americana. Su madre, la señora Micaela Peña Sauceda, informó tras su desaparición que acudieron para poner la denuncia de la privación de la libertad, y que a través de la Vicefiscalía zona norte, obtuvieron acceso a los videos en donde se observa cómo un comando de sujetos armados, llegó a bordo de un vehículo, y una camioneta pickup, ambas de modelo reciente y sin placas en las que se lo llevaron a la fuerza al momento de salir de su turno del casino alrededor de las 7:00 horas del pasado martes 29 de agosto. Detalló que su hijo apenas tenía 15 días que había iniciado a trabajar en ese casino, y que pese a ser una persona que solo buscaba el sustento, fue víctima de la inseguridad; por lo que exigió a las autoridades que investiguen qué pasa en el Casino Codere, ya que es de ahí de donde se lo llevaron a la hora de su salida. Cuestionados sobre qué les dijeron en su trabajo, su hermana Cinthya Hernández Peña respondió que sólo les avisaron que se lo llevaron, y que sobre cómo fue el «levantón», lo saben por la Fiscalía tras poner la denuncia, y con quienes llevan seguimiento; pero que tampoco hay muchos avances al respecto, pues el Ministerio Público solo les ha dicho que «están diciendo los protocolos, que siguen una de investigación y que entrevistarán a los del casino, y que solo estaban revisando las cámaras, que fue lo que nosotros vimos». «Qué me los regrese en vivo o como sea, porque ya son muchos días, vivimos con la incertidumbre de saber si está bien, si trascendió, el no saber nada nos está carcomiendo, y es la intención que la sociedad sepa lo que estamos viviendo y lo que está pasando, el cometido final es que nos apoye nuestro Presidente Municipal y el Gobernador a esclarecer qué es lo que está pasando. Ha sido un completo misterio, esperemos tener una pronta respuesta, positiva, cualquiera que sea el final o cómo está él ahorita que tengan un poquito de piedad, y nos enteren para nosotros cerrar este pequeño duelo, el no saber, el estar con la incertidumbre». La familia comentó que ya lo buscaron por todas partes pero no han podido localizarlo, tampoco nadie les ha llamado para darle algún dato sobre su paradero o sobre qué le paso, señalan que la incertidumbre de no saber dónde está, está acabando con ellos, pues a una semana de su «levantón», siguen sin encontrarlo.
