Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino ; Las Vegas As one of the pit stops of our US tour, we travelled to Las Vegas and stayed at the Mandalay Bay for 3 days 2 nights from 24 March to 26 March, 2017. The service and the amenities provided at the resort are great along with a wide selection of world renowned restaurants, bars, lounges, and live music shows. With luck on our side, the resort hosted the “Michael Jackson One live show by Cieque du Soleil” during our stay. Least to say, it was quite an an electrifying show featuring fusion of acrobatics, dance and visuals reflecting the dyananic showmanship and spirit of Michael Jackson. One of the deadliest mass shootings in modern US history which occurred on Oct 1, 2017 here at the Mandalay Bay resort. The gunman open fired from his suite on the 32/F at the crowd during a music festival, killing at least 58 and injured more than 800 people. It’s sad to think about this tragic event occurring at the exact premises where my wife and I were present at just 6 months earlier.
